World Environment Day is observed on June 5th every year to raise global awareness and take positive environmental action to protect the planet. It is one of the principal vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and action.
World Environment Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 and has been celebrated annually since then. The importance of World Environment Day lies in several key aspects as this day provides an opportunity to educate people about the importance of environmental conservation, the impact of human activities on the planet, and the need for sustainable practices. It encourages people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds to come together and work towards a common goal of protecting the environment. As part of this, Ginger Technologies gifted plant pots to all our staff as part of their initiative to promote a sustainable environment through spreading awareness around the importance of preserving the environment and also adding a little bit of ‘green joy’ to all our lives.
